Lock and unlock
Digital key
The digital key function lets you start the car through the Zeekr app on your phone. The owner can also share the car with others by inviting them through the Zeekr app. Any recipient of an invite to share the car must also have a Zeekr account.
The car can be locked/unlocked through the Zeekr app. After creating a digital key, the user can also start the car. The car can be locked/unlocked over both mobile data and Bluetooth. Bluetooth is quicker and can also be used to start the car. You must be logged in to your Zeekr account to lock/unlock or start the car through the app.
Do not leave a paired phone in the car when leaving the car. If you must leave a paired phone, make sure to either turn it off or disable Bluetooth and lock the phone.
When using digital key over Bluetooth, make sure the Bluetooth symbol
is visible and black on the Zeekr app homepage. If it is greyed out, press the symbol
to reconnect Bluetooth.
Digital keys only work on phones approved by Zeekr. For a list of approved phones:
- On a device connected to the internet, visit the website zeekr.eu/connected.

Ultra wideband digital key
Certain phones can use ultra wideband digital keys. Ultra wideband is even more accurate for measuring distance, which makes it possible to use functions like approach unlock and walk-away lock with these digital keys. Unlike other digital keys that are used through the Zeekr app, ultra wideband digital keys are used through the phone's wallet app, such as Apple Wallet. They are still created through the Zeekr app.

Share the car

If the intended secondary user has the Zeekr app installed on their phone, they receive an invitation through the app. If not, they receive a text message through which they can register a Zeekr account, and then download the app. If the intended secondary user reinstalls the app, gets a new phone, or fails to create a digital key after being invited, they can initiate a new key creation through the app.
