Reset windows

If the battery has been drained or disconnected, or the car software is updated, the power windows need to be reset for the automatic up/down function to work and for the pinch protection function to work.

To perform a window reset, do the following for each window, with the ignition on and the doors closed:

1. Pull the window control button up until the first stop resistance. Hold the button until the window is closed and then for at least 5 more seconds.
2. Push the window control button down until the first stop resistance. Hold the button until the window is fully open and then for at least 5 more seconds.
3. Pull the window control button up until the first stop resistance. Hold the button until the window is closed and then for at least 5 more seconds.
