New journey after locking
If you stop and lock your car, and return to your car after more than 8 minutes, the car considers the next journey a new journey. This means that any function active by default for each journey is reactivated if it was previously disabled.
This also means that if you stop and lock your car, and return to your car within 8 minutes, any function that was previously disabled remains disabled, except for the door open warning and the rear cross traffic alert functions. These functions are always reactivated after the car has been stopped and locked.
