Connection menu

The car is equipped with network capabilities. The connection menu is used to control the following network functions:

  • Bluetooth symbol Bluetooth
  • Wi-Fi symbol Wi-Fi
  • In-car hotspot symbol In-car hotspot
  • 5G network symbol 5G network

To access the menu, press Bluetooth symbol or navigate to Settings Connection.

Activate a function to access the various settings associated with that function. For example, activating Wi-Fi will show a list of nearby networks that the car can connect to.

Note
It is not possible to use Wi-Fi and in-car hotspot at the same time.

Reconnect the network

If the network connection is weak, try reconnecting the network.

  1. Navigate to Settings Connection.
  2. Press Reconnect the network.
    Note
    The mobile connection, Wi-Fi, and in-car hotspot are disabled while the network is being reconnected. This can take 2–4 minutes.
    Note
    Network reconnection is only available when the car is in P and any door is open.

Bluetooth connection

Your phone can be used to play multimedia and take calls through the car's infotainment system. To be able to do so, the phone must be paired with the car and be within operating range.

  1. Enable Bluetooth on your phone.
  2. On the center display, navigate to Settings Connection.
  3. Select your phone in the list.
  4. Make sure that the number shown on your phone matches the number shown on the center display and confirm the pairing.
  5. On your phone, choose if you want to synchronize contacts and allow CarPlay/Android Auto.
